Kill to Rank is a public pay-to-rank leaderboard. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with. We keep data collection to the minimum the game needs, and we do not sell it.
When you buy a spot you give us a website URL or X handle, a display name, a category, and a logo (auto-fetched or uploaded). This is listing content and is shown publicly on the leaderboard by design. At checkout you may provide an email so the payment processor can send a receipt. You do not create an account to pay.
Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Dodo Payments. Your card details are entered on their secure checkout and are never seen by or stored on Kill to Rank. We store a record of each purchase (amount, status, the action it paid for, and the processor's payment id) so we can grant the correct rank and answer billing questions. When someone clicks a listing we record the click to show a count. To ignore repeat clicks we store a one-way hashed fragment of the visitor's IP address for about ten minutes; we do not store raw IP addresses and do not build advertising profiles. Click counts are aggregate, not tied to identifiable people.
We use your browser's local storage for preferences only, such as the sound and CRT toggles. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
We use a small set of service providers to run the game: Supabase (database and realtime), Vercel (hosting), and Dodo Payments (payments). To show a listing's logo we may fetch a favicon from Google's public favicon service or an avatar from unavatar.io using the domain or handle you submit. We share data with these providers only to operate the service, and we disclose information if required by law.
Listings and kill history are the public record of the game and persist, including after a listing is killed and moved to the Graveyard. Purchase records are retained for accounting and dispute handling. You can ask us to remove a listing you own; see Contact.
Email us to ask what we hold about a listing, to correct it, or to have a listing you paid for removed. We will respond to reasonable requests. Removing a listing does not reverse a completed payment; see the Refund policy.
Kill to Rank is not directed to anyone under 18 and is not intended for children.
